Hong Kong-based biotechnology company IMPACT Therapeutics, Inc. (HKG: 7630) announced on Friday that it has entered an exclusive partnership with Pharmanovia, granting the global specialty pharmaceutical company rights to manufacture, develop and commercialise senaparib in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Australia and New Zealand for maintenance monotherapy in advanced epithelial high-grade ovarian, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer.
The collaboration marks IMPACT's first commercial expansion outside China and aims to accelerate market access by leveraging Pharmanovia's established infrastructure.
IMPACT is eligible to receive up to EUR423.5m in upfront, regulatory and commercial milestone payments, alongside tiered royalties on net sales. The partnership extends senaparib's reach to 66 countries, including all European Union member states, the United Kingdom and markets in the Middle East and North Africa.
Senaparib is a PARP1/2 inhibitor developed by IMPACT and approved in China in January 2025, later added to the National Reimbursement Drug List. Senaparib's Marketing Authorisation Application for first-line maintenance therapy in advanced ovarian cancer was accepted by the European Medicines Agency in August 2025, with approval expected in the second half of 2026.
