ABL Diagnostics (Euronext Paris:ABLD), a provider of molecular biology tests, announced on Friday that it has filed a bid to acquire the business operations and assets of IntegraGen, a company specialising in genomic analysis of nucleic acids, particularly in oncology and rare genetic diseases.
The bid was filed on 11 September under Article L.642-1 of the French Commercial Code as IntegraGen undergoes judicial reorganisation proceedings before the Commercial Court of Évry. The proposed acquisition aligns with ABL Diagnostics' growth strategy and its evaluation of external growth opportunities that complement its existing portfolio.
The transaction remains subject to a decision by the Commercial Court of Évry, and ABL Diagnostics said there is no assurance it will be selected as the successful bidder.
