The board of directors of health care company UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) declared a dividend of USD1.08 per share of the company's common stock, it disclosed on Monday.

This dividend is payable on 24 March 2020 to all shareholders of record at the close of business as of 16 March 2020.

UnitedHealth Group said it is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives and helping make the health system work better for everyone, as well as offering a broad spectrum of products and services.

In addition, the company operates through two distinct platforms: UnitedHealthcare, which provides health care coverage and benefits services and Optum, which provides information and technology-enabled health services.
