Singapore expects almost 80% of its population to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by early September 2021, Reuters news agency reported on Monday.
The health minister Ong Ye Kung was quoted as saying in parliament that about 54% of the country had already received both doses of an mRNA vaccine.
Singapore has approved vaccines from Pfizer (NYSE:PFE)-BioNTech (Nasdaq:BNTX) and Moderna (Nasdaq:MRNA).
