The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has stated that the US has administered 318,576,441 doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of 6:00 hours ET on 21 June 2021, Reuter news agency reported on Tuesday.
This is an increase over the 317,966,408 vaccine doses administered on 20 June 2021.
According to the CDC, 177,342,954 people had received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, while 150,046,006 people are fully vaccinated.
This tally by CDC includes two-dose vaccines from US pharmaceutical companies Moderna (Nasdaq:MRNA) and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE)/BioNTech (Nasdaq:BNTX), as well as Johnson & Johnson's (NYSE:JNJ) one-shot vaccine.
