Cuba has stated that its three-shot Abdala COVID-19 vaccine had proved 92.28% effective in last-stage clinical trials, Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday.
This announcement on 21 June 2021 came just days after the Cuban government said another domestic vaccine, Soberana II, had proved 62% effective against COVID-19.
