Finnish biotechnology company Biohit Oyj (HEL:BIOBV) on Friday introduced the Biohit FAEX Sample System, a new stool sample collection and handling solution designed for seamless integration into diagnostic workflows.
According to Biohit, the system enhances precision, efficiency and flexibility for both patients and laboratories.
The Biohit FAEX Sample System functions as both a standard test tube and a dropper tube, ensuring accurate and reproducible sample dispensing for ELISAs, chemiluminescence assays, lateral flow tests and proprietary diagnostic kits. A precision-engineered collection stick enables consistent sample collection, while a screw-tight cap with leak-proof threads ensures safe handling, transport and storage.
CE-marked and compliant with Regulation (EU) 2017/746 for In Vitro Diagnostic Devices, the system meets high regulatory standards. It can be used as a standalone component or as part of a diagnostic kit, offering a practical and reliable solution for stool sample processing.
