2 February 2012 - Norwegian Photocure (OSE:PHO) said on Thursday its French partner Ipsen (EPA:IPN) announced sales of EUR1.3m (USD1.7m) of Photocure's Hexvix for detection of bladder cancer in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The sales were mostly generated in Italy and Germany, Ipsen said in its interim report, unveiled today.

Ipsen commercialises Hexvix worldwide, excluding the US and the Nordic region, under a deal inked in late September 2011. In November, Ipsen commenced selling the drug in Germany and Italy, and will roll it out on its other markets in 2012.
