In August last year, customers at over 7,500 Walgreens drugstores were able to make donations of USD1 or more at checkout as part of the company's Way to Well Commitment programme. This programme alone raised over USD1.4m for the charity organisation. Walgreens' Crayola Campaign, which envisaged the payment of USD1 from every Crayola Crayon 64-pack purchased at Walgreens in August to JDRF, raised a further USD20,000 for the foundation.
