Orexo ends collaboration with Janssen
31 January 2012 - Sweden's Orexo AB (STO:ORX) and Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc, a company of US Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), announced their decision to end their research collaboration and licence agreement regarding the OX-CLI and OX-ESI programmes and a third, unnamed Janssen programme.

After the dissolution of their partnership, each party has regained all commercial rights for its respective drug discovery programmes.

The move puts an end to the OX-CLI and OX-ESI programmes that were designed to discover and develop new treatments for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other inflammatory diseases.
