2 February 2012 - Hitachi Medical Systems America and Canadian-owned Horizon Medical Services on Thursday announced they had received approval by the Canadian regulator for the SCENARIA 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT) System.

The approval allows for the sale of SCENARIA on the Canadian market.

SCENARIA offers dose efficiencies, excellent image quality and enhanced workflow to meet the needs of a wider range of imaging environments, Hitachi Medical said.

Hitachi Medical Systems America markets advanced diagnostic medical imaging systems of Japanese Hitachi Medical Corp across the US.

Horizon Medical Services develops diagnostic solutions including digital x-ray, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, and MRI for hospital and clinic environments throughout North America.
