Medical device company QT Imaging Holdings Inc (Nasdaq: QTI) announced on Wednesday that it has released version 4.5.0 of its breast imaging reconstruction software, delivering enhanced image quality and performance across complex clinical scenarios. The update improves spatial resolution in reflection imaging through optimised, spatially varying deconvolution, enabling more accurate image representation while maintaining efficient processing times.
The new software also fuses speed-of-sound and reflection data to provide clinicians with improved visualisation and more comprehensive tissue characterisation. Additional enhancements include improved reconstruction for small breasts and more accurate assessment of fibroglandular tissue in patients with implants, broadening the software's applicability across diverse anatomies.
QT Imaging develops low-frequency sound wave imaging systems aimed at safe, accessible and patient-centered detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
