Bradham Comfort Services will proudly participate in the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's® in Charlotte, taking place on 18 October 2025 at Truist Field. Demonstrating their solidarity, the team will wear lavender-coloured work shirts--the official colour symbolising Alzheimer's awareness--to honour those affected and promote greater understanding. With over six million Americans living with Alzheimer's and more than 11 million providing unpaid care, Bradham Comfort Services is calling on the community to walk, donate, and advocate for a future without Alzheimer's.
Bradham Comfort Services has reaffirmed its commitment to the fight against Alzheimer's by announcing its participation in the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer's® in Charlotte. Organised by the Alzheimer's Association®, the event will be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at Truist Field, with registration starting at 9 a.m. and the walk commencing at 10 a.m.
As part of its advocacy efforts, the Bradham team has adopted lavender work shirts in tribute to the official Alzheimer's awareness colour. These shirts aim to spark conversations within the community while showing solidarity with those impacted by the disease.
"Alzheimer's has touched so many lives, including those of our employees, customers, and families. Wearing lavender and walking together isn't just symbolic--it's personal," said Wendy McSwain, Marketing Director at Bradham Comfort Services. "At Bradham Comfort Services, we believe in showing up for our community, and this cause is close to our hearts."
The Walk to End Alzheimer's® remains the largest global initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, research, and support. Bradham Comfort Services is honoured to take part again, mobilising its team and the wider Charlotte community in support of the over six million Americans living with the condition and the 11.5 million unpaid caregivers supporting them.
Bradham Comfort Services is encouraging supporters, customers, and local residents to either join their team or make a donation via the company's official Alzheimer's Association team page. All funds raised will contribute directly to research efforts, support programmes, and care resources for individuals living with Alzheimer's and related dementias.
