GenScript Biotech Corporation (HK:1548), a China-based global provider of life science research and manufacturing services, announced on Wednesday that it has been awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis, a business sustainability assessment platform.
This recognition marks the company's significant progress in the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The award places GenScript in the top 15% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
In the latest reassessment, GenScript outperformed 85% of companies globally and was in the top 10% in the sector of manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations.
