Saluda Medical Pty Limited, a company that deals with the development of closed-loop spinal cord stimulation intended to treat chronic pain, announced on Friday that it has named Jim Schuermann as its new president and chief executive officer.
Mr Schuermann has over 25 years of healthcare and medical device leadership experience. He has held the position of chief business officer at Avedro. He has also served as vice president and general manager of Medtronic's Mechanical Circulatory Support, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at HeartWare and held various roles at Boston Scientific. He commenced his medical device career at Sherwood-Davis & Geck.
Schuermann has an MBA degree from Golden Gate University and a BS from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
