Vireo Health International, Inc. (CNSX: VREO; OTCQX: VREOF), a multi-state cannabis company in the US, announced yesterday that it has named Bruce Linton as its new executive chairman.
In the new role, Linton will serve on the board of directors, work closely with Vireo CEO & founder Kyle Kingsley, MD, and lead the firm's strategic decision-making, capital markets activity and future partnerships.
The new executive chairman is the founder and former CEO of Canopy Growth Corporation and co-founder of Tweed Marijuana Incorporated. He has held positions including as general manager and re-founder of Computerland.ca, and president and co-founder of webHancer Corp. He was a chairman of the Ottawa Community Loan Foundation, past board member and treasurer of Canada World Youth, and past board of governor for Carleton University.
