KEPRO, a United States-based CMS-designated quality improvement and care management organisation, has named Melissa Leigh as its new general counsel & chief compliance officer, it was reported yesterday.
In this newly created role, Leigh will lead the company's in-house legal, compliance and risk management functions.
With more than 20 years of experience in the health care, technology and government sectors, Leigh will provide guidance to the business on matters including governance, M&A, litigation, commercial, regulatory and employment. She will also work cross-functionally with leaders across the enterprise to provide counsel on risk management and contracting strategies that lead to optimal business performance, compliance and client success. Prior to joining the company, she worked for Intermedix Corporation for over five years, where she held various leadership positions. In July of 2018, she was named Female Health IT Leaders to Know by Becker's Hospital Review.
