United States-based HealthGrowth Capital announced on Friday that it has named George Fencl as its new chief marketing officer, effective immediately.
Fencl brings senior strategic and tactical deployment experience from years at Y&R in New York and specialty agency Giant Creative Strategy in San Francisco. He has been interim CMO since HealthGrowth Capital's founding in 2016. As VP of Digital Strategies and Analytics at Giant Creative in San Francisco, he advised pharmaceutical companies, such as Amgen, J&J, Genentech and Abbott, to launch some of the successful products of the past decade.
Karl Kipke, chief executive officer of HealthGrowth Capital, said, 'George has been an invaluable resource in providing marketing guidance and insights over the past two years. George brings healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing expertise that folds perfectly into HealthGrowth's expanding financial products and advisory service offerings. We could not be happier to have him joining our team in this senior capacity.'
