15 January 2013 - Pharmaceutical company Supernus Pharmaceuticals Inc (NasdaqGM:SUPN) announced on Monday the appointment of Victor Vaughn as senior vice president of its Sales department.

In the newly appointed role, Vaughn will lead and oversee all of the company’s sales activities.

Previously, Vaughn has worked as senior vice president of sales at Shire from 1992 to 2005.

Prior to Shire, Vaughn has served in various positions in sales and sales management at Fujisawa and SmithKline Beecham (Glaxo).

The company added that Vaughn brings to his new position over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including consulting with small to medium size pharmaceutical companies.
