13 February 2012 - Acorda Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:ACOR) on Monday announced that it has appointed Jane Wasman as chief, strategic development.

In this new role Wasman will oversee the development and execution of the company’s long-range strategic plans and objectives and for the analysis of trends, developments and contingencies which may impact the company’s strategic courses of action.

Wasman will also be continuing with her current responsibilities as general counsel, which includes management of the company’s legal, compliance and quality departments.
