25 January 2012 - Canadian biotechnology company Arch Biopartners Inc (CVE:FOI) said on Tuesday it had mandated Claude Allary to serve as its special advisor.

In this role, Allary will help assess commercial opportunities for Arch Biopartners' drug development platforms and other emerging technologies.

Allary joins Arch Biopartners from pharmaceutical consulting company Bionest having co-founded the company in 2003 and most recently serving as a managing partner.

Before 2003, Allary gathered over 20 years of knowledge and expertise within the pharmaceutical industry, having worked at Rhone-Poulenc Sante (now Sanofi), Parke-Davis (now Pfizer) and Glaxo.
