17 January 2012 - Lombard Medical Technologies Plc (LON:LMT), a UK-based manufacturer of endovascular stent grafts and other vascular products, announced on Tuesday that Ian Ardill was appointed as its chief financial officer with effect from 23 January 2012.

Ardill comes to Lombard Medical from Biocompatibles International Plc where he held the post of finance director for over six years. He has also served as financial controller and company secretary at Biocompatibles.

Prior to joining Biocompatibles, Ardill held various executive positions at Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK Limited, Letheby & Christopher Ltd, NHA International Plc and Grant Thornton.
