3 February 2012 - Insolvent German drugstore chain operator Schlecker does not face distribution problems as suppliers are holding on to their commitments, news agency DPA-AFX reported on Friday citing a spokesman for the company.

Schlecker is currently in discussions with its employees and creditors.

The company filed for insolvency about two weeks ago due to financial problems.

With more than 7,000 stores and some 30,000 employees, Schlecker is Germany's biggest drug store operator.
