31 July 2015 - - Dr. Vatsal Shah has been named as chief operating officer at Indian clinical research organisation SIRO Clinpharm, the company said on Friday. Vatsal, who has been with the company for more than three years, will be located at the company headquarters in Mumbai. As COO, he will be responsible to ensure delivery of SIRO's integrated services of clinical operations, medical writing, clinical data management, biostatistics and programming, pharmacovigilance, and clinical trial supplies management. Vatsal has more than 18 years of experience encompassing various clinical research services across diverse industry spaces of pharmaceutical companies, CROs and KPOs. He was on the team that created one of India's largest medical writing teams during a stint with Novartis. SIRO Clinpharm offers clinical trial management, clinical data management, medical writing, biostatistics and statistical programming, pharmacovigilance and clinical trial supplies management.
