Meridian Health to use HealtheIntent based solutions to provide clinicians with better insight of patient population
19 December 2014 - Health care company Meridian Health said on Thursday that it will help manage patient population health data through Cerner's (NasdaqGS:CERN) multiple non-Cerner acute and ambulatory Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

Meridian will use Cerner's HealtheIntent based solutions to help evolve from a hospital network to an organisation that manages its populations one person at a time. The HealtheIntent platform aggregates and normalises clinical, financial, operational and claims data from multiple, disparate sources in near real time.

Meridian will implement Cerner's HealtheIntent-based solutions, including HealtheRegistries, HealtheCare and HealtheEDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) across its 100 locations to help Meridian provide clinicians with better insight of their patient population and improve engagement with members, their families and care providers.
