19 June 2013 - 19 June 2013 - Indian Aurigene Discovery Technologies and Swiss Debiopharm Group said today they have nominated a development candidate, dubbed Debio 0617B, a small molecule targeting an undisclosed oncology pathway.

The companies added that Debio 0617B has commenced IND-enabling studies and that it is expected to be advanced into clinical development during the fourth quarter of 2014.

The parties, which has been collaborating since 2006, inked an exclusive worldwide licence deal to develop and commercialise Debio 0617B in 2012.
