FDA accepts for review IntelGenx's NDA for VersaFilm anti-migraine oral thin film
18 June 2013 - 18 June 2013 - Canadian drug delivery company IntelGenx Technologies Corp (OTCMKTS:IGXT) said Tuesday that its New Drug Application (NDA) for VersaFilm, an anti-migraine oral thin-film product, had been accepted by the US FDA.

The agency is expected to complete the review of the application on February 3, 2014.

VersaFilm contains Rizatriptan, the active drug in US Merck & Co's (NYSE:MRK) Maxalt-MLT orally disintegrating tablets.

IntelGenx has developed the product in collaboration with Israeli RedHill Biopharma Ltd (TLV:RDHL).
