24 May 2013 - US Organic Group, a United States-based company that aims to provide products using only natural and organic ingredients, has developed an over-the-counter organic anti-itch ointment, Anti Itchbalm, it was reported yesterday.

The product is indicated for treating itchy skin and can be used on both adults and children. Its active ingredient is peppermint oil and it is claimed to soothe insect bites, reduce redness and inflammation, support healing and relieve pain from insect bites, skin irritations and small cuts.

According to the company, the product is the first balm-typed remedy for itchy skin to carry FDA-registered certification.
