23 May 2013 - 23 May 2013 - US cell therapies developer Cellular Biomedicine Group (OTCMKTS:CBMG) said on Wednesday it had reached half of the projected enrolment needed for its Phase I study of TC-DC (tumour stem cell specific dendritic cell) therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

No severe adverse effect has been reported to date in the study, the company added.

The open-label study assesses the safety and efficacy in lowering the incidence of tumour recurrence and metastasis by means of autologous immune cell therapy in primary HCC patients following standard tumour resection and TACE chemotherapy.
