The partnership will utilise Personal Genome Diagnostics' methodologies and know-how in genomic analysis of defined cancer subtypes. Blueprint is focused on developing highly selective kinase inhibitors for a genetically defined patient population.
Blueprint's chief scientific officer Dr Christoph Lengauer said that the company is assessing various cancer subtypes that have not been examined before and that the company looks forward to working with Personal Genome Diagnostics to identify new and important aberrations.
