18 May 2012 - Medical imaging and aviation security technology provider Analogic Corporation (Nasdaq:ALOG) announced on Thursday that it will demonstrate the new BK Medical branded ultrasound systems, the Flex Focus 500, Flex Focus 800 and Pro Focus UltraView 800 with Quantum Technology, at the American Urological Association Annual Meeting on 19-23 May 2012 in Atlanta.

The company said that its BK Medical branded systems with Quantum Technology offer new features and solutions that provide clinicians a faster and easier way to improve ultrasound performance, specifically in urology and renal imaging.

Quantum Technology offers image quality enhancements, including improved contrast resolution, as well as new gray scale maps and new image pre-sets, making it easier to obtain the highest quality images.

In addition, the new technology includes a Vector Flow Imaging (VFI) mode, allowing angle independent visualisation of blood flow, and an advanced color Doppler mode, enabling superb spatial resolution.
